It’s here, Moon Foodies, the best Munchie Day of the year—4.20 (or, in our case, an all-weekend extravaganza )! This day is for a little extra indulgence in celebration of cannabis. I am sharing a SUPER easy elevated snack that is going to satisfy all the cravings without much effort. Sweet, salty, or heat, don’t worry—I have you covered.
Enter Honey Buffalo Cheez-Its. We start with a solid base: a classic cheesy cracker (if cheesy crackers aren’t your favorite, swap in whatever you prefer). Moon Honey (dosage of choice) is warmed with wing sauce, then tossed with the crackers, and lastly baked low until crispy. Warning: You may not be able to stop eating these.
Honey Buffalo Cheez-its
(4 servings)

Ingredients:
2 cups cheese crackers
4 teaspoons Moon Honey
1/4 cup wing sauce (I like Franks)
Directions:
In a small saucepan, heat honey and wing sauce over low heat just to loosen the honey and combine the sauce. This will only take a couple of minutes.
Toss the warm sauce with the cheese crackers.
Spread out in a thin layer and air fry at 250 for 5 minutes
Toss and air fry for an additional 5 minutes.
For the oven: place sauced crackers on a wire rack over a baking sheet and bake 250 for 10 minutes
Flip the crackers and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Allow crackers to fully cool on the rack (they will not be crispy until fully cooled).
Store in an airtight container.
Tip: if you only have hot sauce, do 3 tablespoons hot sauce, 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, 1/4 teaspoon each onion and garlic powder
Any delicious snack must have a drink. I have you covered, Moon Water is just what you are looking for. Fresh lemon juice, mint, and sparkling water infused with a Moon Mixer of choice - the perfect crisp beverage to cool you down from the sweet heat crackers. These go down smooth, so plan on more than one. Want it a little sweet?…add in some honey. Swap out the lemon for any citrus of choice for a variation. This mocktail is easily adaptable to preferences. A few carafes of juice, bottles of sparkling water, herbs, and a bowl of Moon Mixers make a fun build-your-own mocktail bar for guests.
